radiance irradiance 란?

 그래픽스와 광학분야에서 중요한 개념 radiance와 irradiance에 대해 알아봅시다.

 

 

 

먼저 FLUX에 대해 알아보면

 

FLUX : 주어진 방향에 대하여 수직인 단위 면적을 통하여

단위 시간당 특정 물리 량이 수송되는 비율

Radiance and Iraadiance

 

 

Both are measures of radiant flux (energy per unit time).

The two differ in the acceptance angle of the sensor .

 

Irradiance is the total amount of light incident on a surface,

and includes scattered (diffuse) light as well as direct light.

It is measured by an instrument that collects the light from a 180° solid angle.

 

Radiance is the flux of energy emitted from a specific radiant area such as the sun or an animal’s body or

signal patch.

Only the light that travels directly from the source area to the receiver is measured using a tube-like

 or telescoping instrument that cuts out scattered light.

The solid angle over which the instrument is measuring must be specified.

다시말해,

 

방사 조도 [irradiance]
면위의 점에 대하여 정의되며 그 점을 포함하는 미소면에(모든 방향으로부터)입사하는 방사속의 단위 면적당 비율

Irradiance, radiant emittance, and radiant exitance are radiometry terms for the power of electromagnetic radiation at a surface, per unit area. "Irradiance" is used when the electromagnetic radiation is incident on the surface.

방사 휘도 [radiance]
발광면 위, 수광면 위 또는 방사의 전파경로 단면 위의 어떤점에서 그 점을 포함하는 미소면을 통과하고 어떤 방향으로 향하는 방사속 방향에 수직인 면으로서 단위 정사영 면적당, 단위 입체각당 비율.

Radiance and spectral radiance are radiometric measures that describe the amount of light that passes through or is emitted from a particular area, and falls within a given solid angle in a specified direction.

Collector 입장에서 보면,

 

위 그림을 보면 왼쪽의 irradiance는 어떤 면적에 들어오는 에너지들의 합을 얘기하는 것이고

오른쪽 그림을 보면 어떤 면적에서 나오는 에너지가 눈이나 카메라에 solid angle을 가진 형태로 들어오는 량을 의미한다.

 

여기서 말하는 solid angle(입체각)이란?
